Shown below is the full list of known terrain types. Each are depicted by a hex icon.

Each terrain type costs a certain amount of Movement Points (MP) to traverse. Each race has their own number of required MPs, this value includes any racial advantage based on their Prime Terrain.

MPs are just a rough estimation to give the player some idea of the distances his character may be able to travel each day. Weather, encumbrance, hazards etc can and will affect the final distance a character will travel as well as whether you are travelling in a group, on a mount and of course the speed you are prepared to move at.

Roads can reduce the amount of MP required by 50% and a path around 25%.
