Gad Games and Ilkor: Dark Rising are both created and owned by Sean Cleworth.

Both company and game are a labor of love, a throwback to the late 80’s and early 90’s when as a teenager I entered the exciting world of Play-By-Mail (PBM) gaming, firstly as a player of other people’s games and soon after I formed Gad Games out of my bedroom while still at school.  I encourage you to learn more of the history of Gad Games.

I am now running Ilkor: Dark Rising for fun in my free time.  It’s free to join and play.  No catch, no marketing campaigns or adverts.

If you are from the PBM era, especially Hand-Moderated Fantasy games, then I encourage you to join.  If PBM is totally new to you, please give Ilkor: Dark Rising a chance, its something you have unlikely ever experienced.  Either way I dont think you will regret it.

There are various ways you can contact me.  Currently I am the sole person working on this project, but as time goes by I very much hope others will want to come on board as GameMasters and help form and shape this fantasy world for more and more players to enjoy.

The WhatsApp Group is an announcement group only.  Although the gaming system has its own internal messaging system this group can be used quickly and easily to broadcast global messages to all players in the group.  I therefore urge you to join the group.
